Framework
The decision-weight model
Every executive carries a portfolio of decisions that differ in consequence, reversibility, and political complexity. Our coaching begins by mapping your decision landscape so sessions target the choices that genuinely move your career and organisation forward, rather than spreading attention evenly across low-impact items.

Insight
When coaching fails
Coaching stalls when the executive treats it as therapy or when the sponsor expects a compliance fix. We screen for both before engagement starts, saving everyone time and money.

Case note

Perspective
Coaching vs. consulting
A consultant brings answers; a coach surfaces better questions. If you already know what to do but struggle with how to lead the change, coaching is the right investment. If you need industry-specific expertise you lack entirely, start with consulting and add coaching later.
Clarity under pressure
"I walked into my first session with a list of fifteen priorities. By session three, I had two. That focus changed how my entire team operated."
— General manager, logistics, Laval
Political navigation
"My coach helped me see that the resistance I was facing was not about my ideas — it was about how I was sequencing stakeholder conversations. A small shift in approach unlocked a stalled initiative."
— SVP Product, SaaS company, Montreal
Board preparation
"The governance simulation sessions were unlike anything I had experienced. When I finally sat in my first board meeting, nothing felt unfamiliar."
— First-time non-executive director, Quebec City
Questions we hear often
How long does a typical coaching engagement last?
Most engagements run between four and twelve sessions, spread over two to six months. Transition sprints are shorter; board-readiness programmes are longer. We scope the engagement collaboratively during a no-cost chemistry call.
What does a session look like in practice?
Sessions are 90 minutes, conducted via video or in person at our Laval office. Each session follows a loose structure: reflection on inter-session work, focused dialogue on the current challenge, and agreement on actions before the next meeting. We do not use rigid scripts.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. The content of sessions is never shared with your sponsor or organisation. If a sponsor requests progress updates, we agree on a summary format with you in advance, and you approve every word before it is shared.
What are the fees?
Fees depend on engagement length and format. A single standalone session is $650 CAD. Multi-session pathways range from $3,200 to $9,500 CAD. We provide a detailed proposal after the chemistry call.
Can coaching happen in French?
Absolutely. Sessions are available in English or French, depending on your preference. Written materials and worksheets are provided in the language you choose.
